On February 21, Weng Jingnong, Secretary General of the Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM), and his delegation visited the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA). They held discussions on international organization construction and membership development, operation management, future cooperation. Wang Ju, Secretary-General of the IHFCA, and heads of relevant departments of the association attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the head of the relevant department of the association first introduced the development of the IHFCA, and then Secretary-General Weng Jingnong  introduced the relevant situation of ASIASIM. After understanding the situation of all parties, the two secretaries-general had in-depth exchanges on institutional membership development, member services, international standard setting, organizational operation management, institutional business development, future cooperation. In addition, they also discussed how to better play the role of policy in leading the high-quality construction of international organizations.

Secretary-General Weng Jingnong applauded for the development and excellent achievements of the IHFCA since its establishment, and thanked Secretary-General Wang Ju for her cordial reception and friendly exchanges. He mentioned that as a newly established social organization, ASIASIM should actively learn from the development experience of excellent international organizations and explore a development path suitable for the construction . The meeting has brought a lot of inspiration to the future development of ASIASIM. He hoped that the two international organizations will find more cooperation possibilities in the future development process and jointly promote the mission of China’s international science and technology organizations to participate in global science and technology governance.
