Recently, Mr. Weng Jingnong, Secretary-General of Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM), and Assistant Secretary-General Mr. Zhang Zhizhong, visited Dassault Systèmes in Shanghai for in-depth discussions.

The two sides exchanged views on topics including simulation in industrial manufacturing, biomechanical simulation, virtual reality simulation & VR technologies, and beyond. Dassault Systèmes introduced its simulation software SIMULIA, as well as latest updates on its product lines covering aerospace, manufacturing, and life sciences.

Additionally, both sides discussed the “Top 10 Frontier Questions in Simulation Science and Technology” initiative for the Global Simulation Conference 2025 (GloSim 2025), and the potential to co-host a Sub-Forum on Life Sciences Simulation. Both sides also achieve consensus on strengthening cooperation in future technical exchanges, talent cultivation and platform co-building. Dassault Systèmes, as a global leader in simulation software, shared key challenges and insights regarding future simulation development, and exchanged views with ASIASIM on how to formulate and publish the list of frontier topics.

This exchange marks a new chapter in the collaboration between ASIASIM and Dassault Systèmes, with both sides committed to advancing innovation and integration of simulation technologies across industrial manufacturing, life sciences, and virtual reality sectors.
