CHINA SIMULATION FEDERATION


The China Simulation Federation (CSF) is a national-level first-tier society under the China Association forScience and Technology (CAST). lt was established on February 12, 1989, and is composed of experts, scholars, scientists and technologists, and group units engaged in simulation disciplines nationwide.

The purpose of the CSF is to unite and organize a large number of simulation scientists and technologists. itsgoals include promoting the prosperity and development of science and technology, facilitating domestic and international academic exchanges, serving its members and scientists and technologists, promoting the development ofsimulation science and technology in China, and contributing to the national economic construction and modernization of defense.

Currently, the CSF has over 30,000 individual members and 145 unit members, with 47 branch organizations (43professional committees and 4 working commitees). The federation publishes one domestic journal and one foreiqrjournal. ln recent years, it has hosted or co-hosted more than 50 domestic and international academic conferencesThe "China Simulation Conference" is the federation's most important academic exchange brand and is held annually.This conference brings together well-known experts and scientists and technologists in the simulation and relateafields in China, and has become the highest academic event in China in these fields. in 2016, the federation established the China Simulation Society Science and Technology Award to recognize outstanding achievements in thefields of simulation science, technology, or engineering. This award is given to those who have made importantdiscoveries, inventions, or original innovations and have achieved sianificant influence in related fields.

The China Simulation Federation has strong connections with simulation societies in Asian countries such asJapan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia. lt is also one of the host countries for the "Asian Simulation Conference"
