On January 18, 2025, at the beginning of the new year, the 2024 annual working meeting of the secretariat of the Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM) was successfully held in the conference room of the International College of Beihang University in Beijing. Professor Zhang Lin, President of the Asia Simulation Federation, Professor Weng Jingnong, Secretary-General, Professor Song Xiao and Yang Xiaohui, Vice Secretaries-General, Professor Cui Yong and Professor Lai liyuanjun of Beihang University, Director Luo Yongchu, representative of China Simulation Federation, representative of Beijing Huaqi Engineering and Technology Research Institute, Vice President Liu Yanqing and other guests and staff of ASIASIM secretariatn were present.
The meeting focused on the work summary of ASIASIM in 2024 and the key plans for 2025. Secretary-General Weng Jingnong first sent wishes to the meeting, summarized the relevant work of ASIASIM in 2024, and also set forth plans for the key work in 2025. President Zhang Lin thanked the leaders at all levels, experts and friends at home and abroad who provided care and support during the establishment of the Asia Simulation Federation, and made key plans for the related brand activities of ASIASIM from the professional field of simulation technology.
During the meeting, the participating members spoke in turn, closely following the discussion and sharing of the “two sessions, one journal, one center and one plan”. In 2025, ASIASIM will continue to build a brand and high-quality international academic exchange platform (hold the first Global Simulation Conference and run the Asia Simulation Conference well), and exert its efforts in the compilation of international journals, the formulation of international standards, the service and management of members, the construction of organizational compliance and the construction of office culture. It aims to gather more consensus, forge the Federation brand, actively participate in the scientific and technological governance in the global simulation field, and give full play to the due role of international organizations.
