ABOUT BEIHANG
About
Beihang University Hangzhou International Campus
This summer school will be held at the Hangzhou International Campus of Beihang University. The campus is located in the heart of Hangzhou’s West City Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, adjacent to the Liangzhu Cultural Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Phase I of the campus covers an area of 1,000 mu, with a total floor area of 770,000–780,000 square meters. It features first-class teaching and laboratory facilities, comprehensive living amenities, and a pleasant campus environment. Guided by the development philosophy of “interconnectivity, openness and unity, safety and convenience, and empowerment of science and education,” the campus is being built as a world-class digital and smart campus.
The campus features modern laboratories, an international conference center, apartment-style dormitories, and a wealth of academic and cultural spaces. According to long-term plans, the student body is expected to reach 10,000, with graduate students accounting for more than 60 percent.
