On December 9, 2025, a delegation from Fudan University—including Director Kui Su and Deputy Director Jie Ding from the International Students Office, faculty member Yanjun Zhu, and more than 30 international students from nearly 20 countries such as Germany, Italy, Russia, the United States, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and Malaysia—visited the Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM). The delegation was received by ASIASIM Secretary-General Jingnong Weng and members of the Secretariat.
International science and technology organizations are a vital component of global science and technology governance. The first stop of the visit brought the Fudan University delegation to the Secretariat of the Asia Simulation Federation. Secretary-General Jingnong Weng provided a detailed introduction to the federation’s founding background, member countries, vision, core missions, and cutting-edge layout. Faculty and students actively engaged in discussions, asked questions, and collectively viewed ASIASIM’s English promotional video, gaining in-depth insight into the federation’s philosophy of proactively shaping the future through simulation technology and fostering scientific research, industrial collaboration, and cross-border projects via an international platform. The delegation subsequently toured the Beihang Hangzhou International Campus, expressing admiration for its pleasant environment and well-equipped teaching facilities, and later shared a meal together at the student cafeteria.

In line with the interests of the visiting delegation, ASIASIM mobilized its member organizations to offer an immersive experience of cutting-edge technology. The group visited the Hangzhou AI Town, with a highlight stop at ASIASIM member company Pimax Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd, a leading enterprise in high-end VR equipment development. Renowned for its technological innovation, Pimax provided students with immersive experiences in simulated driving, flight, and diving scenarios, allowing them to vividly experience the realism of virtual simulation and artificial intelligence technologies.
