As part of the celebrations, an unveiling ceremony was held for the establishment of an International Organization Internship Recruitment Base.

“ASIASIM Internship Recruitment Base” Officially Unveiled

During the opening ceremony, the “ASIASIM Internship Recruitment Base” jointly established by East China Normal University and the Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM) was officially launched. Wu Jian, Vice President of ECNU, and Weng Jingnong, Secretary-General of ASIASIM, jointly unveiled the plaque, marking the formal commencement of the initiative.

It is reported that over the past 60 years, more than 100,000 international students from over 130 countries and regions have studied at ECNU, engaging in in-depth dialogue with Chinese culture through programs such as Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.

The establishment of this base is expected to further integrate education with practical application, promote collaboration and hands-on engagement between universities and international organizations, and provide new development platforms for ECNU’s international students. The initiative will support international students in gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, participating in international organization affairs, and promoting achievements in simulation science and technology. It will also help strengthen the coordinated “industry–university–research–application” ecosystem in the simulation field, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality, globally minded talent in simulation and related disciplines.
