Jingshan Hiking Trip

Following the successful conclusion of both the GloSim 2025 and the parallel session on simulation technology at the 2025 World Science and Technology Development Forum, the Asia Simulation Federation organized a team-building activity, embarking on an unforgettable autumn journey.

On the morning of November 2, 2025, Lin Zhang, President of the Asia Simulation Federation, and Jingnong Weng, Secretary-General of the Asia Simulation Federation, led a team consisting of secretariat staff and students from the Beihang International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology on an autumn team-building activity—a hiking trip to Jingshan Mountain. Together, they embarked on a journey that combined determination and warmth. The team gathered early and took a bus to the foot of Jingshan, where they began their hiking ascent. Along the way, they encouraged one another while climbing the steps, surrounded by a picturesque landscape of bamboo forests and maple trees. After reaching the summit, the group visited the ancient Jingshan Temple, immersing themselves in the tranquil atmosphere of the millennia-old monastery and reflecting in its serene, Zen-inspired ambiance. Later, the team traveled to Jingshan Academy to enjoy a warm gathering around a stove, brewing tea and sharing their hiking experiences. This provided an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding among the participants. The team-building activity was designed to foster care, collaboration, and mutual understanding through hiking. Blending the joy of climbing with the warmth of a shared gathering, it allowed everyone to relax in nature, strengthen team cohesion, and build deeper connections, injecting renewed energy into the federation's collective efforts.
