On June 30, the Asian Simulation Federation (ASIASIM) held its 2026 Mid-Year Work Meeting. During the meeting, Lin Zhang, President of the Asian Simulation Federation; Jingnong Weng, Secretary-General; Xiaohui Yang and Xiao Song, Vice Secretary-General; along with Professor Zhigeng Pan, Associate Professor Ruiping Wang, Postdoctoral Fellows Kunyu Wang and Han Lu from the International Simulation Technology Innovation Center of Beihang University, as well as heads of various departments of the ASIASIM Secretariat, delivered presentations and engaged in discussions. The meeting provided a comprehensive review of the federation’s key initiatives during the first half of 2026, summarized achievements and challenges, and facilitated in-depth discussions on priorities and improvement strategies for the next phase. The meeting was held in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation.

The meeting focused on the advancement of key 2026 initiatives and special topics, including preparations for major annual events such as the 2026 Global Simulation Conference, the Simulation Forum of the 2026 World Science and Technology Development Forum, the 2026 Asian Simulation Conference, and the 2026 International Collaborative Initiative on Digital-Intelligent Simulation and Industrial Empowerment Innovation Action. Discussions also covered specialized topics, including membership management, branch organization management, and financial compliance management of the Asian Simulation Federation. The meeting further strengthened consensus on the federation's future development, providing a strong foundation for the coordinated advancement of key initiatives in the second half of the year and the federation's high-quality growth.
