On May 18, Wei Liu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Beijing Chaoyang District Science and Technology Association, and Chao Huo, Executive Vice President, led a delegation on a dedicated research visit to the Beijing office of the Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM) Secretariat, holding discussions with Deputy Secretary-General Xiaohui Yang and other relevant officials. Both sides exchanged views on the development of international science and technology organizations, independent innovation in simulation technology, collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research, and empowering regional industrial upgrading, reaching several practical consensuses on cooperation.

Secretary Liu received a briefing on the background of ASIASIM's establishment, its global governance network, the layout of key projects, and progress in its development within Chaoyang District, with particular focus on ASIASIM's practical achievements in international academic exchange, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the recruitment of high-level talent, and the development of standards systems. He engaged in in-depth discussion and offered guidance on topics including serving science and technology professionals, promoting the deep integration of international innovation resources with regional industry, and accelerating the development of a cluster zone for international science and technology organization headquarters. He noted that Chaoyang District is vigorously implementing the "Hundred Science Parks" initiative and the "Talent Recruitment" special campaign, working to build a cluster zone for international science and technology organization headquarters, and expressed hope that ASIASIM would fully leverage its advantages as an international platform and its capacity for global resource integration to form stronger strategic synergy with Chaoyang District.

Both sides agreed that this research visit would serve as a new starting point for establishing a regular communication and collaboration mechanism, pursuing multi-tiered, comprehensive cooperation in areas such as conducting high-level science popularization activities, recruiting top-tier international professional talent, and accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and their industrial implementation. This cooperation aims to inject stronger momentum into the high-quality development of China's simulation technology sector, the advancement of new-type industrialization, and the pursuit of high-level scientific and technological self-reliance, while contributing to the development of Beijing as an international innovation center.
