On June 29, an international student delegation from Nanjing University of the Arts visited the International Campus of Beihang University in Hangzhou for an immersive educational and research-oriented tour. During the visit, the delegation toured the Asian Simulation Federation and the Aerospace Exhibition Hall of Beihang University Hangzhou International Campus, gaining firsthand insights into the appeal of aerospace technology and the innovative potential of simulation technologies. The activity provided an engaging learning experience combining professional knowledge with interactive exploration of simulation science and technology.

At the beginning of the activity, organized by the Asian Simulation Fedration, the international student delegation from Nanjing University of the Arts participated in a specialized learning and tour program. Jingnong Weng ASIASIM Secretary-General welcomed the students and hosted the exchange session throughout the visit. He introduced the federation's development history, organizational structure, core functions, and international influence in details. As an authoritative platform in the simulation field based in Asia and connecting with the global community, the Asian Simulation Federation brings together leading experts and high-quality research resources from multiple countries. It continues to promote innovation in modeling and simulation technologies, facilitate interdisciplinary applications, and support high-quality collaboration among academia, industry, and research institutions in the Asian simulation community.

Following the introduction, Secretary-General Weng guided the students on an on-site tour of the Asian Simulation Federation’s research facilities and office environment, followed by a science outreach session. Using accessible explanations and vivid examples, he elaborated on the core concept of “Simulation for Everything”, helping students understand the broad applications and future possibilities of simulation technology.

Following the lecture, the activity continued with an interactive Q&A session. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, with international students actively raising their hands, asking questions, and exchanging ideas on topics such as simulation technology applications, academic studies, and international cooperation. In response to the students’ questions, Secretary-General Jingnong Weng provided patient and detailed explanations, addressing their concerns with clear and accessible insights. To encourage students’ enthusiasm for learning, the Alliance prepared creative cultural gifts for all students who answered questions correctly. The interactive session enhanced students’ engagement, allowing them to consolidate their knowledge and deepen their learning experience in a relaxed and friendly environment.


Following the visit to the Asian Simulation Federation, the international student delegation from Nanjing University of the Arts visited the Aerospace Exhibition Hall at Beihang University Hangzhou International Campus. During the visit, students experienced flight simulator equipment firsthand and gained a deeper understanding of the practical applications and technological appeal of aerospace simulation technologies.

Looking ahead, the Asian Simulation Federation will continue leveraging its international platform advantages, strengthening exchanges and cooperation among universities in China and abroad, promoting simulation technology outreach, academic exchange, and collaborative talent development.
