Call for Papers | Global Submissions Open for the Parallel Session on AI-Driven Future Simulation Technology at the 2026 World Science and Technology Development Forum

About the 2026 World Science and Technology Development Forum


To foster global consensus on open, trust-based cooperation within the scientific and technological community, advance the development of an open innovation environment with global competitiveness, and accelerate the growth of strategic emerging industries and future industries worldwide, the 2026 World Science and Technology Development Forum will be held in Chongqing, China, from October 26 to 28, 2026. With the theme of “Forum Collaborative EvolutionShaping New Ecosystems for Future Industries”, the forum will feature multiple parallel sessions focusing on key topics in science, technology, and industrial development.


Scope and Content of the Parallel Sessions


The Parallel Session on Simulation Technology, themed “AI-Driven Future Development of Simulation Technology”, is co-organized by ASIASIM, Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University, Chongqing Artificial Intelligence Society, and other partners. Focusing on the deepintegration of artificial intelligence and modelling & simulation technologies, the session will bring together researchers, technology professionals, and industry leaders from around the world. Participants will explore cutting-edge topics including digital twins, industrial intelligent agents, and world models, while jointly discussing innovative applications of intelligent simulation technologies in advanced manufacturing, industrial transformation, and sustainable development.


Call for Papers

Scope of Submissions

We invite original research papers from various industries related to digital simulation theories, methodologies, and cutting-edge technologies. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Intelligent Modeling and Digital Twins

  2. Generative Simulation and Content Synthesis

  3. Reinforcement Learning and Decision-Making Simulation

  4. Simulation Credibility and Explainability

  5. Industrial and Domain-Specific Intelligent Simulation Applications

  6. Next-Generation AI-Based Simulation Methods and Applications




Language and Length Requirements

  • Manuscripts may be submitted in Chinese or English.

  • The abstract should be provided in both Chinese and English, or in English only (for foreign experts). The Chinese abstract should contain 300–500 Chinese characters, and the English abstract should contain 200–350 words.

  • The full paper should not exceed 8,000 Chinese characters or 6,000 English words, including spaces, figures, and tables.

  • Templates for Chinese and English papers are provided in Appendices 2 and 3, respectively.


Formatting Requirements

All submissions should include the following files:

  • Before August 10, authors must submit either the paper abstract or the full paper manuscript. Participants who wish to compete for the Outstanding Paper Award must submit the complete manuscript.

  • Full papers must be prepared according to Template 2 or Template 3:

    • Chinese papers should use Template 2.

    • English papers should use Template 3.

  • Abstract submissions must follow Template 1.

  • All documents should be submitted in DOC format, formatted as A4-sized Word documents.

Submission Guidelines

  • Paper Submission Deadline: August 10, 2026

  • Notification of Acceptance: August 25, 2026
    (Authors who wish to participate in the Outstanding Paper Selection must submit the full manuscript.)

  • Deadline for Recommending Outstanding Papers to the Main Forum: September 7, 2026

  • Final Manuscript Submission Deadline: September 30, 2026

Paper Acceptance

Papers that pass the expert review process will be accepted as official papers for the Simulation Technology Parallel Session. The organizing committee of the parallel session will also recommend outstanding paper abstracts to the main forum. After review and approval by the Academic Committee of the conference, selected abstracts will be included in the Collection of Outstanding Paper Abstracts of the 2026 World Science and Technology Development Forum.

In addition, ASIASIM plans to organize the 2026 Global Simulation Conference (GloSim 2026) in Hangzhou, China, from November 13–16, 2026. Accepted papers from this call for submissions will be included in the GloSim 2026 Proceedings.

Outstanding papers with significant academic value, cutting-edge innovations, or practical application significance will be recommended for publication in journals indexed by ESCI/EI, including:

  • International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing

  • Complex System Modeling and Simulation

  • Metaverse

  • Journal of System Simulation

Journal submission deadline: August 30, 2026.

Special Note:
The submission deadline for the Simulation Technology Parallel Session does not conflict with the submission schedule of the related journals. For papers submitted after August 10, 2026, authors may still submit their manuscripts through the submission link of the Simulation Technology Parallel Session to GloSim 2026. After review, eligible papers will continue to be considered for the above journal recommendation opportunities.
