On the afternoon of May 31, ASIASIM welcomed a delegation of senior space officials from 13 countries, led by Hui Jiang, Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), for an exchange visit.

The visiting delegation consisted of participants from the APSCO Advanced Management Training Program on “National Space Development Strategies and Implementation Pathways for Space Industry Cooperation”. The program brought together senior officials and executives from space authorities and organizations across 13 countries, including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand, and Uzbekistan.

Jingnong Weng, Secretary-General of ASIASIM, along with members of the Secretariat, warmly welcomed the delegation. During the visit, Secretary-General Weng introduced the guests to ASIASIM’s development history, organizational structure, and strategic initiatives, as well as its achievements and future plans in simulation technology, aerospace applications, international cooperation, and academic exchange.

The participants listened attentively to the presentation and gained deeper insights into the critical role of simulation technology in supporting aerospace engineering, space development strategies, and the commercialization of the space industry. They highly recognized ASIASIM’s platform influence and achievements in professional development.

This visit served as a bridge for communication and cooperation among space communities across the Asia-Pacific region, enhancing the understanding of ASIASIM among aerospace professionals from the 13 participating countries.
