Now, a new wave of innovation is on the horizon. The 2026 Global Simulation Conference (GloSim 2026) will return to Hangzhou from November 13–16, 2026, under the theme “AI-Driven Global Simulation Innovation and Collaborative Governance”.

More than a conference, GloSim 2026 offers an opportunity to explore the future of industry, innovation, and global collaboration. Whether you are a researcher, a technology decision-maker in industry, or a leader building partnerships across the sector, there is a place for you at GloSim 2026.

01 WHY 2026

Why 2026? Simulation Is Becoming the Foundation for World Models in the AI Era

As the global technology revolution and industrial transformation continue to accelerate, simulation is undergoing a major shift from rule-based methods to AI-generated models. The deep integration of physical AI and digital twins is building a new bridge between the virtual and physical worlds. Together, they are emerging as a promising foundation for AI world models, one of the most closely watched developments beyond today’s large AI models.

New Possibilities Across Industries

① Autonomous Driving
Millions of miles of closed-loop testing can be carried out in virtual environments, greatly reducing the cost of trial and error.

② New Energy
From batteries to power grids, simulation of countless operating conditions helps improve efficiency and performance.

③ Deep Space Exploration
Route planning and mission testing can be completed on Earth, helping identify and address uncertainties before a mission begins.

④ Public Governance
Simulation of complex systems helps decision-makers move beyond guesswork and evaluate the likely outcomes of different policies.

This is the core value of simulation as a driver of new productive forces. It is no longer just an engineering support tool, but a vital link connecting basic research, technological breakthroughs, and real-world industrial applications.

As self-reliance in industrial software, including domestic CAE and EDA tools, embodied intelligence, and the low-altitude economy become strategic priorities, simulation is becoming the invisible backbone connecting these fields.
